Am I the A-hole for needing my friends to rarely help me with chores?

My roommates and I have been living together for about a year. We've made a decent agreement where we each take turns doing the dishes, but lately, it feels like I'm always the one handling the work. Last week, my friend totally forgot to do their part. I got really upset because they just didn't even notice. I told them that it was unfair, and they got defensive. Now, they're saying I'm making a big deal out of nothing. Am I really the asshole here?

Should I find new roommates?
